About Event
This hands-on workshop is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) using MATLAB in the emerging domains of waste valorization, sustainable energy, and environmental management. The session will introduce participants to data-driven approaches for analysing environmental datasets, developing predictive models, identifying patterns, and supporting sustainable decision-making. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on exercises, participants will gain an understanding of how MATLAB-based AI/ML tools can be applied to real-world environmental and waste-management challenges. The programme will also provide valuable insights into innovative waste-to-value technologies, renewable and sustainable energy solutions, resource recovery, and environmental monitoring practices. Laboratory visits will further enhance the learning experience by giving participants direct exposure to research facilities, experimental systems, analytical instruments, and ongoing activities in waste management and environmental sustainability.
